Following a meeting of the Alderman Norman Claimants Unity committee it was agreed that the next Annual General Meeting of the Unity will be held in 2022.

This is the result of Covid 19 restrictions impacting on the ability of the committee to meet in order to complete the necessary arrangements for an AGM in 2021.

The committee considered its position regarding the Unity constitution, which requires an AGM to be held yearly, and all agreed that attempting to hold a meeting before Spring 2022 was not practical and was in keeping with the government’s position that although social contact limits were removed on 19 July, people should continue to exercise caution, common sense and personal responsibility.
